Our Story

My name is Taylor Powell and I’m the owner of Hill Street Concrete Designs. The company was established, by my Father, John, in the early 1980’s, specializing mainly in concrete floors, sidewalks, pool decks, foundations, chimneys, and fireplaces. During summer vacation and then straight out of high school in 2001 I worked for him learning the ins and outs of concrete and masonry work. In my mid 20’s I moved to boston and worked for a high-end builder, getting experience in carpentry, tile, paver patios and driveways and many more areas of home building. After my time in boston I moved back to my hometown area and started to take interest in the more creative and artistic side of concrete and stone work. Since then I have fallen in love with creating beautiful projects that starts off as a pile of rocks or a bag of dust. Through hard work and dedication to my craft I strive to have each project reflect my passion in designing and creating art that meets daily functionality.
